Senior System Engineer - IT Infrastructure

• Summary: Candidate would be responsible for the IT Support in the production environment with high sense of responsibility and ownership for all IT related issues in the organization.

Job Description:

• Administrate and provide support for the Data center services.
• Own and resolve the issue until resolution in time bound manner.
• Flexible enough to work in extended hours as and when needed.
• Expert in configuration and administration of Web servers (Apache + Tomcat).
• Configuring & managing Linux Servers RHEL/CentOS
• Configuration and administration of MySQL / PostgreSQL database server
• Provide L2 support to all Linux and Windows issue.
• Good Understanding of virtualization Esxi/HyperV/Citrix/OVM
• Understanding and hands on knowledge of Storage concepts RAID/SAN/NAS/ISCSI
• Experience of windows server domain policy management and active directory
• Good Understanding of AD/DNS/DHCP and routing concepts.
• Experience of backup and monitoring tools NAGIOS
• Experience on Syslog Or other central log management server
• Basic understanding of ISMS and compliance management.
• Good experience with network troubleshooting.
• Experience on firewall and UTM devices
• Experience in VPN management and troubleshooting

Must have skills:

• Good understanding of complete IT infrastructure and its supporting components.
• Expert in configuration and administration of Web servers (Apache + Tomcat).
• Good hand on knowledge on Linux and supporting infra.
• Server, network and virtualization administration expert.
• Network security, Firewall, Routing, Switching, VLAN, SDWAN.
• Physical server maintenance and manage compliance.
• Maintain Windows/RHEL/CentOS/ maintain OS compliance and patching services.
• Understanding of Storage concepts RAID/SAN/NAS/ISCSI
• Hands on knowledge on SAN and NAS technologies, EMC, AMI, QNAP
• Good Understanding of AD/DNS/DHCP and routing concepts.
• Backup and monitoring tools NAGIOS, Veritas, manage engine
• Experience on Syslog and other central log management server
• Good network trouble shooting skills
• Experience on firewall and UTM devices CISCO, Cyberoam
• Experience in VPN management and troubleshooting.
