Inside Sales Executive

Job Description:

  • Responsible for identifying, prospecting, and generating new business opportunities for the sales team.
  • Engage with potential clients through calls, emails, and online platforms to create qualified leads.
  • Maintain and update the lead database regularly.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth transition of qualified leads.
  • Conduct follow-ups with interested prospects to nurture and convert leads into opportunities.
  • Support sales campaigns, promotions, and outreach activities.

 

Major Duties :

  • Conduct outbound calling to potential clients for e-procurement, e-auction, and government banking alliance solutions.
  • Research and identify target segments, companies, and decision-makers.
  • Schedule meetings/appointments for the sales team with qualified prospects.
  • Maintain daily activity reports and performance trackers.
  • Keep detailed notes of conversations and ensure CRM is updated.
  • Handle inbound leads and respond promptly to inquiries.
  • Meet weekly/monthly lead generation and conversion targets.

 

Key Skills :

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good understanding of sales process and lead nurturing.
  • Ability to engage confidently with clients over phone and email.
  • Basic understanding of IT / SaaS / e-procurement / e-auction industry (added advantage).
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and ability to work independently.
  • Good analytical and research skills.
