Technical Architect

• Summary: We are looking for an experienced and high-performing individual to join our Product Solutions team as a Technical Architect. This technical leadership role is responsible for defining solution design for the Procure-to-Pay and Contract Management products.

• Location: Gurgaon

The incumbent would be responsible for following:

• Provide leadership on the design & end-to-end solutions for building Procurement and Contract Management products on cloud and on premise platforms.
• Apply best practices to all solution architecture, design areas, including on-prem, AWS/Azure, or a combination. This includes areas such as Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Scalable, Performance Efficiency, and Cost Optimization.
• Mentor other Tech Leads and Software Engineers, in order to support solution development and application of best practices.
• Translate detailed requirements into functional specifications.
• Provide high level estimates for project proposals and solution designs.
• Provide estimates of capacity planning and hardware sizing to balance performance and cost in a deployment.
• Integrate with project teams according to Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology for either waterfall or agile projects.
• Conduct Proof of Technologies on the new technologies on on-cloud and traditional technologies to recommend the choice of technology for adoption at an enterprise level.
• Work closely with the solution design and development team to approve data patterns, technologies and seek architecture approvals.
• Work with the solutions design team to drive data & analytics strategy across enterprise.
• Provides consultation for the evaluation of complex software systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in delivering application solution with proven business value.
• Drive DevOps (CI/CD) automation initiatives across Data analytics platform.
• Build and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups, or personnel.
• You would be required to attend client meetings, represent the company from technical perspective in client as well as partner forums.

Key Qualifications

• Approximately 15+ years of build/design experience related to application design, building solution architecture and leading end to end implementations.
• 7-10+ years’ experience in development, 4 of which in the capacity of Development and/or Design Lead.
• Strong experience in delivering projects in application development projects using technologies like Java, Spring, Angular, React, Python, Microservices.
• Good experience in design and delivery of SaaS based products.
• Hands-on knowledge on DevOps & automation initiatives within the application deliveries.
• Extremely strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills. This includes skills such as conceptual requirements interpretation, solution creation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation skills including technical writing, Visio, PowerPoint, flowcharting (5+ years).
• Excellent collaboration and leadership skills, a proven ability to adapt to challenges, and a strong interest in coaching and mentoring colleagues.
• Experience with productionizing services at scale and related change management.
• Experience with project management and software development life cycle /SDLC; waterfall and agile (5+ years).
• Must have lead team of size 20+.
• Strong experience with building DevOps pipelines for web application technologies. 3+ yrs. in DevOps (CI / CD) related technologies and must have implemented the same in 2-3 projects in the past.
• Demonstrated proof in e-Procurement domain.
• Must have worked on Contract Management domain for 3-4 years.

Major accountability

• Both Business and Technical oriented. Lead the solution architecture, design, development with expert knowledge in various areas such as business functionalities & processes, solution packages, cloud solutions, security management, data integration, infrastructure, and the like and follows industry best practices.
• Build and lead a team of designers and developers for delivery using Agile approach.
• Set up and provide governance on solution architecture and technology standards.
